Best Screenplay at the Festival de Cannes in 1974, the little-known film shot after Duel and before Jaws is no doubt one of the most intimate films made by Steven Spielberg, for whom divorce is a recurring theme. Based on a true story, the film follows a mother (Goldie Hawn) who incites the father of her child to escape from prison so they can go off together to find their son, who has been placed in a foster home.
